Mrs. Pooja Sharma, a businesswoman from Haryana, spoke to the audience about the various challenges new business owners face.

With that learning, ACIC-SGTU organized a series of outreach events, the first among the many “Vichar, Vimarsh aur Aatmnhirbharta” with the special guest and mentor, Mrs. Pooja Sharma on 10th December 2022.

Mrs. Pooja Sharma, a Haryana-based entrepreneur started “Kshitiz”, a self-help group, that makes homemade cookies and food items, which sell like hotcakes in five-star hotels and employ more than 130 women. She discussed the highlights of her business and the obstacles she faced during her early married life to support the family.

Furthermore, she underlined the importance of independence and how you can overcome society's restrictions. She lastly motivated the audience toward great opportunities for a better life.

The ACIC-SGTU facilitated the space where people from the community, gathered and discussed the prospects and the challenges faced by an entrepreneur or a businesswoman.
